Rotoscoping

We were introduced to rotoscoping in this workshop, I used a video of Stefan holding a camera up and then placing it down, this was the part I wanted to rotoscope as it was one second exactly which is what was required to create a 10 second loop.

This is the original video rotoscoped onto a white background, it worked quite well for a first attempt.

I then placed my rotoscoped footage onto a red solid background and used the blending effect multiply to create this simple red version of the original. I also duplicated the footage, lowered the opacity and skewed it over the original to create the shadow looking effect.
